WHO MAY BE A MEMBER?

The field of membership is comprised of employees and retirees of the Texas Workforce Commission, any permanent employee of a contractor for TWC and any family member.

Also, if you live, work or go to school within a 10 mile radius of our offices, you are eligible for membership.

HOW TO JOIN THE CU?

Fill out our membership card.
Membership Application

Deposit $25.00 or more into your share account.

HOW ARE SAVINGS PROTECTED?

Each share account is insured by NCUA up to $250,000.00. Your investment is further protected by a bond amounting to $1,000,000.00 which insures against losses through embezzlement, theft, robbery or other such acts.

Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, you must provide a valid state ID or drivers license and your social security card. We will also ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see other identifying objects.
